Plassen ble ryddet og bosatt av Anders Olsen og kona Anne Marie
Bakkum fra 1849. De fikk sju barn. Ved folketellinga 1865 hadde
de 2 kyr og 2 sauer, og dyrket 1/8 tønne bygg, ¾ tønne
blandingskorn og 1 tønne poteter. 1 tønne var ca 139 liter.
Plassen ble fraflyttet etter at Anders døde i 1912.
